The musical is called ‘David Gest… My Life! A Musical Concert Extravaganza.’ The show is touring the UK and will make a stop in St. David’s Hall on this coming Saturday. Its basic plot is cantered on the life and trials of Gest and his love of music. Outside of being a theatre producer, Gest is also known as a husband of Liza Minnelli.
Included in the show is a tribute to Michael Jackson and an interview conducted between Jackson and Gest will be shown in the musical.
Gest became known widely throughout the UK after an appearance on the ITV show, “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.”
Russell will only appear in the St. David’s Hall production of the musical, which has been described by the Welsh city as an exclusive promotion for the city.
